They provide typically costs based on CPT codes (number codes used to identify medical services and procedures by qualified healthcare professionals) and insurance (in-network services) or out-of-network or no-insurance options.
To find costs for physical therapist services, visit https://www.fairhealthconsumer.org/ and follow these five steps:
- Select Search for medical and hospital costs.
- Enter your zip code.
- Type the words Physical Therapyin the search field
- Scroll through the options with their associated codes, and select the services you want pricing for..
- When the box turns green, click on the Get Your Cost link to view the cost of the service in your area (including the cost of the services with no insurance (self-pay) and out-of-network, or in-network services.
